Proposal photography in Budapest starts at €290, depending on the level of planning and coordination involved.

I don’t work with fixed minutes or photo limits. The proposal is planned properly, then photographed without rushing.

Planned city proposals are €350. This includes discreet preparation beforehand, calm guidance on the day, and all edited images that document the moment naturally.

Private boat proposals on the Danube are €700. This covers planning, coordination directly with the captain, and professional photography throughout the experience.

There are no add-ons or artificial upgrades. The focus is on a single, well-prepared proposal that is handled quietly and professionally.

Fisherman’s Bastion is a popular choice for its stone arches and views of Parliament. I usually recommend an early start, but it’s a public place, so we can’t guarantee an empty terrace.

If you prefer a private setting, we can plan the proposal on a yacht on the Danube. Chain Bridge and Gellert Hill are other options we can discuss, depending on your dates and the view you want.

Budapest is a popular city for proposals, and sunrise slots — especially at Fisherman’s Bastion — tend to book first. Spring and autumn weekends also fill up quickly.

Booking 3–6 weeks in advance gives the most flexibility with timing and location.

That said, shorter notice is often possible. If your trip is already planned or the idea came together quickly, reach out. I’ll tell you honestly what works, what doesn’t, and suggest the most realistic option.

Start by filling out the proposal contact form so I can understand your dates, ideas, and priorities.
Alternatively, you can message me directly on WhatsApp if that feels easier.

2. Short conversation
We’ll clarify timing, location options, and what kind of moment you’re aiming for.
This usually happens via chat, or a short call if needed — nothing complicated.

3. Confirmation & deposit
Once the date, time, and approach are clear, I’ll confirm availability and send an official invoice for a 50% deposit.
Payment can be made securely by card online.

4. Proposal day
I handle the discreet planning behind the scenes and guide the flow on the day,
so the moment stays calm, natural, and a complete surprise.

As a general rule, Buda works best in the morning, Pest in the afternoon.

Timing matters more than most people expect. Some of Budapest’s most iconic spots are beautiful — but they also attract heavy foot traffic. If you want a quiet, emotional proposal, the hour of the day makes a real difference.

Based on experience:

Fisherman’s Bastion & Buda Castle — sunrise
Parliament area — early morning or sunset
Private boat on the Danube — late afternoon into sunset
Liberty Bridge — sunset for warmer light
City Park (Városliget) — late afternoon
Rooftops & quieter parks — depends on season and weekday
